LSYO concert dates for the 2023-2024 season are:

The Lone Star Youth Orchestra will conclude its 25th Anniversary Silver Season on May 15th with a concert titled “LSYO: 25 Years (and Counting)”.  This hour-long program features Georges Bizet’s Carmen, Suite No. 1, Alexander Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia, and LĂ©o Delibes’ “Le roi s’amuse”.  As an added treat, the winners of our annual LSYO Concerto Competition will each be playing their pieces with our orchestra.  First Place winner Aaron Bermudez will perform CĂ©cile Chaminade’s Flute Concertino in D Major, Op. 107 and Second Place winner George Diaz will play Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Concerto in G Major for Flute and Orchestra, KV. 313 (285c).
 
Single tickets are available by visiting IrvingArtsCenter.com, by calling (972) 252-2787, or by purchase at the door.  Ticket prices are $7.50 per student and $14.50 for adults.
 
LSYO: 25 Years (and Counting)” will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Irving Arts Center’s Carpenter Hall.  The Arts Center address is 3333 N. MacArthur Blvd., Irving, TX  75062.  Be aware of road construction along MacArthur that will detour you onto Coker Street that routes behind the arts center.
